अन्याः सहस्रशश्चोक्ताः क्षुद्रनद्यो द्विजोत्तम ॥३१॥

31.
All of them (rivers) are considered the mothers of the universe and removers of all sins. Furthermore, O best of the twice-born (dvijottama), thousands of other small rivers are also mentioned.
