ete deśāḥ hi udīcyāḥ tu prācyān deśān nibodha

These are the northern regions. Now, learn from me about the eastern regions: the Adhrarakas, the Mudakaras, the Antargiryas (those dwelling within the mountains), and the Bahirgirās (those dwelling outside the mountains).
