मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-57, verse-60

तदेतद् भारतं वर्षं सर्वबीजं द्विजोत्तम ।
ब्रह्मत्वममरेशत्वं देवत्वं मरुतस्तथा ॥६०॥
60. tadetad bhārataṃ varṣaṃ sarvabījaṃ dvijottama .
brahmatvamamareśatvaṃ devatvaṃ marutastathā.
60. tat etat bhāratam varṣam sarvabījam dvijottama
brahmatvam amareśatvam devatvam marutaḥ tathā
60. This land of Bhārata, O best among the twice-born (dvijottama), is the seed of all (sarvabīja). In it, one may attain the state of Brahman (brahmatva), the lordship over immortals, godhood, and even the Maruts (wind gods).
