मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-49, verse-47

तथा शूद्रजनप्रायाः स्वसमृद्धिकृषीबलाः ।
क्षेत्रोपभोग्यभूमध्ये वसतिर्ग्रामसंज्ञिता ॥४७॥
