समं जन्म च रूपञ्च म्रियन्ते चैव ताः समम् ॥२२॥

22. tāsāṃ vinā tu saṃkalpaṃ jāyante mithunāḥ prajāḥ .

Without any deliberate intention (saṅkalpa), their offspring are born in pairs. Their birth and physical form (rūpa) are equally matched, and they also die in the same way.
