महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-28, verse-54

संस्थाप्य तं चापि पुनः समाश्वास्य च खेचरम् ।
गतो यथेप्सितं देशं हंसो मन इवाशुगः ॥५४॥
54. saṁsthāpya taṁ cāpi punaḥ samāśvāsya ca khecaram ,
gato yathepsitaṁ deśaṁ haṁso mana ivāśugaḥ.
54. saṃsthāpya taṃ ca api punaḥ samāśvāsya ca khecaram
gataḥ yathā-īpsitam deśam haṃsaḥ manaḥ iva āśugaḥ
54. haṃsaḥ taṃ khecaram ca saṃsthāpya punaḥ ca samāśvāsya
manaḥ iva āśugaḥ yathā-īpsitam deśam gataḥ
54. After setting him down and comforting the bird again, the swan departed to his desired destination, swift like the mind.
