महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-14, verse-51

सजीवांश्च नरान्पश्य कूजमानान्समन्ततः ।
उपास्यमानान्बहुभिर्न्यस्तशस्त्रैर्विशां पते ॥५१॥
51. sajīvāṁśca narānpaśya kūjamānānsamantataḥ ,
upāsyamānānbahubhirnyastaśastrairviśāṁ pate.
51. sajīvān ca narān paśya kūjamānān samantataḥ
upāsyamānān bahubhiḥ nyastaśastraiḥ viśām pate
51. viśām pate paśya sajīvān narān ca kūjamānān
samantataḥ upāsyamānān bahubhiḥ nyastaśastraiḥ
51. O lord of the people, behold living men crying out from all sides, men who are being attended to by many others who have laid down their weapons.
