महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-14, verse-24

आदधत्संदधन्नेषून्दृष्टः कैश्चिद्रणेऽर्जुनः ।
विमुञ्चन्वा शराञ्शीघ्रं दृश्यते स्म हि कैरपि ॥२४॥
24. ādadhatsaṁdadhanneṣūndṛṣṭaḥ kaiścidraṇe'rjunaḥ ,
vimuñcanvā śarāñśīghraṁ dṛśyate sma hi kairapi.
24. ādadhat saṃdadhat iṣūn dṛṣṭaḥ kaiścit raṇe arjunaḥ
vimuñcan vā śarān śīghram dṛśyate sma hi kaiḥ api
24. raṇe kaiścit arjunaḥ iṣūn ādadhat saṃdadhat dṛṣṭaḥ,
vā kaiḥ api śarān śīghram vimuñcan hi dṛśyate sma.
24. In battle, Arjuna was seen by some either taking and fixing arrows [to his bow], or indeed, by others, he was seen swiftly releasing them.
