महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-166, verse-7

स शिल्पं प्राप्य तत्सर्वं सविशेषं च संजय ।
शूरः शारद्वतीपुत्रः संख्ये द्रोणादनन्तरः ॥७॥
7. sa śilpaṁ prāpya tatsarvaṁ saviśeṣaṁ ca saṁjaya ,
śūraḥ śāradvatīputraḥ saṁkhye droṇādanantaraḥ.
7. saḥ śilpam prāpya tat sarvam saviśeṣam ca sañjaya
śūraḥ śāradvatīputraḥ saṅkhye droṇāt anantaraḥ
7. sañjaya saḥ śāradvatīputraḥ śūraḥ tat sarvam śilpam
saviśeṣam ca prāpya saṅkhye droṇāt anantaraḥ
7. O Sañjaya, having acquired all that skill, and even in a special way, that heroic son of Śāradvatī (Kṛpa) was next only to Droṇa in battle.
