महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-58, verse-55

शोणिताक्तां गदां बिभ्रदुक्षितो गजशोणितैः ।
कृतान्त इव रौद्रात्मा भीमसेनो व्यदृश्यत ॥५५॥
55. śoṇitāktāṁ gadāṁ bibhradukṣito gajaśoṇitaiḥ ,
kṛtānta iva raudrātmā bhīmaseno vyadṛśyata.

kṛtāntaḥ iva raudrātmā bhīmasenaḥ vyadṛśyata

raudrātmā bhīmasenaḥ kṛtāntaḥ iva vyadṛśyata
55. Bathed in the blood of elephants and wielding a mace smeared with blood, Bhimasena, with his terrifying nature, appeared like Yama (kṛtānta), the god of death.
