महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-58, verse-4

युध्यमानान्यथाशक्ति घटमानाञ्जयं प्रति ।
पाण्डवा विजयन्त्येव जीयन्ते चैव मामकाः ॥४॥
4. yudhyamānānyathāśakti ghaṭamānāñjayaṁ prati ,
pāṇḍavā vijayantyeva jīyante caiva māmakāḥ.

| pāṇḍavāḥ vijayanti eva jīyante ca eva māmakāḥ
4. yathāśakti yudhyamānān jayam prati ghaṭamānān (api),

4. Though my men are fighting according to their strength and striving for victory, the Pāṇḍavas are indeed conquering, and my men are indeed being defeated.
