महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-222, verse-6

व्रतचर्या तपो वापि स्नानमन्त्रौषधानि वा ।
विद्यावीर्यं मूलवीर्यं जपहोमस्तथागदाः ॥६॥
6. vratacaryā tapo vāpi snānamantrauṣadhāni vā ,
vidyāvīryaṁ mūlavīryaṁ japahomastathāgadāḥ.
