महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-45, verse-30

पूर्णे शतसहस्रे तु विप्राणां परिविष्यताम् ।
स्थापिता तत्र संज्ञाभूच्छङ्खो ध्मायति नित्यशः ॥३०॥
30. pūrṇe śatasahasre tu viprāṇāṁ pariviṣyatām ,
sthāpitā tatra saṁjñābhūcchaṅkho dhmāyati nityaśaḥ.

30. When a full hundred thousand brahmins had been served, a signal (saṃjñā) was established there: a conch shell would constantly blow.
