वेदान्कृत्स्नान्ब्राह्मणः प्राप्नुयाच्च जयेद्राजा पृथिवीं चापि कृत्स्नाम् ।
वैश्यो लाभं प्राप्नुयान्नैपुणं च शूद्रो गतिं प्रेत्य तथा सुखं च ॥५७॥

57. vedānkṛtsnānbrāhmaṇaḥ prāpnuyācca; jayedrājā pṛthivīṁ cāpi kṛtsnām ,
vaiśyo lābhaṁ prāpnuyānnaipuṇaṁ ca; śūdro gatiṁ pretya tathā sukhaṁ ca.

57.
A brahmin would attain all the Vedas, and a king would conquer the entire earth. A vaiśya would obtain profit and skill, and a śūdra would achieve a good state (gati) after death, as well as happiness.
