महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-18, verse-30

वेदानां च स वै व्यस्ता कुरुवंशकरस्तथा ।
इतिहासस्य कर्ता च पुत्रस्ते जगतो हितः ॥३०॥
30. vedānāṁ ca sa vai vyastā kuruvaṁśakarastathā ,
itihāsasya kartā ca putraste jagato hitaḥ.

itihāsasya kartā ca putraḥ te jagataḥ hitaḥ
30. saḥ vai vedānām vyastā ca kuruvaṃśakaraḥ tathā

30. Indeed, he will be the arranger of the Vedas, and the establisher of the Kuru lineage. Your son will also be the author of the epic histories (itihāsa) and a benefactor of the world.
