महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-18, verse-37

एवमुक्त्वा तु भगवान्वरेण्यो वृषवाहनः ।
महेश्वरो महाराज कृत्तिवासा महाद्युतिः ।
सगणो दैवतश्रेष्ठस्तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ॥३७॥
37. evamuktvā tu bhagavānvareṇyo vṛṣavāhanaḥ ,
maheśvaro mahārāja kṛttivāsā mahādyutiḥ ,
sagaṇo daivataśreṣṭhastatraivāntaradhīyata.

37. Having spoken thus, O great king, the worshipful Lord (bhagavān) Maheśvara—the excellent one, whose vehicle is a bull, who wears a skin garment, and who possesses great radiance—along with his retinue, the foremost among the deities, vanished right there.
