श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
ततश्चिदाकाशवपुर्व्याप्यनन्तो निरामयः ।
दत्तावधानो वपुषि तदा पश्याम्यहं क्वचित् ॥ १ ॥
ततश्चिदाकाशवपुर्व्याप्यनन्तो निरामयः ।
दत्तावधानो वपुषि तदा पश्याम्यहं क्वचित् ॥ १ ॥

tataścidākāśavapurvyāpyananto nirāmayaḥ ,
dattāvadhāno vapuṣi tadā paśyāmyahaṃ kvacit 1

Sri Vasistha said: "Then, I, whose form is the all-pervading, infinite, and unblemished consciousness-space (cit), turned my attention to the body. At that time, I perceived something, somewhere."
