न शाम्यत्यर्करत्नानां ग्रीष्मेऽग्निरिव दुर्धियाम् ॥ ३० ॥

30.
The tormenting desire (ārti) that asserts "this has been gained, this I shall gain" does not subside. It is like the fire generated by sun-gems (arkaratna) in summer, for those with deluded intellects.
