योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-53, verse-25

अहंकारभ्रमस्यास्य जातस्याकाशवर्णवत् ।
अपुनःस्मरणं मन्ये नूनं विस्मरणं वरम् ॥ २५ ॥
ahaṃkārabhramasyāsya jātasyākāśavarṇavat ,
apunaḥsmaraṇaṃ manye nūnaṃ vismaraṇaṃ varam 25
25. ahaṅkārabhramasya asya jātasya ākāśavarṇavat
apunaḥsmaraṇaṃ manye nūnaṃ vismaraṇaṃ varam
25. manye nūnaṃ asya ahaṅkārabhramasya jātasya
ākāśavarṇavat apunaḥsmaraṇaṃ vismaraṇaṃ varam
25. I believe that for this delusion of ego (ahaṅkāra), which has arisen like the apparent color of the sky, it is certainly better to forget it completely than to recollect it again.
