योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-96, verse-31

चितेश्चेत्यानुपातिन्या गतायाः सकलङ्कताम् ।
प्रस्फुरद्रूपधर्मिण्या एताः पर्यायवृत्तयः ॥ ३१ ॥
citeścetyānupātinyā gatāyāḥ sakalaṅkatām ,
prasphuradrūpadharmiṇyā etāḥ paryāyavṛttayaḥ 31

31. These are the successive transformations of consciousness (cit) which, by following the objects of thought, has attained impurity, and whose intrinsic nature is that of a manifesting form (rūpa).
