यदा पदार्थशक्तीनां संभुक्तानामिवाम्बरे ।
वसत्यस्तमितान्येहा वासनेति तदोच्यते ॥ २४ ॥

When the potencies of objects, as if already experienced, reside within consciousness (ambara) and all other desires (īhā) have subsided, then that is called a latent impression (vāsanā).
