यथाक्रमं तैः स कपिश्च पृष्टः कार्यार्थमर्थस्य च मूलमादौ ।
निवेदयामास हरीश्वरस्य दूतः सकाशादहमागतो ऽस्मि ॥५९॥
59. yathākramaṃ taiḥ sa kapiśca pṛṣṭaḥ kāryārthamarthasya ca mūlamādau ,
nivedayāmāsa harīśvarasya dūtaḥ sakāśādahamāgato'smi.

59. When questioned by them in due order, that monkey first explained the origin and purpose of his mission. He reported: 'I have come as a messenger from the lord of monkeys (Sugrīva).'
