न खल्वियं मतिः श्रेष्ठा यत्त्वां संप्रेषयाम्यहम् ।
इयं च राजधर्माणां क्षत्रस्य च मतिर्मता ॥११॥

11. na khalviyaṃ matiḥ śreṣṭhā yattvāṃ saṃpreṣayāmyaham ,
iyaṃ ca rājadharmāṇāṃ kṣatrasya ca matirmatā.

11. na khalu iyam matiḥ śreṣṭhā yat tvām sampreṣayāmi
aham iyam ca rājadharmaṇām kṣatrasya ca matiḥ matā

11. aham yat tvām sampreṣayāmi iyam matiḥ khalu na
śreṣṭhā iyam ca rājadharmaṇām kṣatrasya ca matiḥ matā

11. Indeed, this is not the most excellent counsel, that I send you forth. Yet, this is considered to be the proper counsel regarding the natural law (dharma) of kings and the warrior class (kṣatra).
