वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-46, verse-50

हन्यमानस्ततः क्रूरै राक्षसैः काष्ठमुष्टिभिः ।
समीपं राक्षसेन्द्रस्य प्राकृष्यत स वानरः ॥५०॥
50. hanyamānastataḥ krūrai rākṣasaiḥ kāṣṭhamuṣṭibhiḥ ,
samīpaṃ rākṣasendrasya prākṛṣyata sa vānaraḥ.
50. हन्यमानः ततः क्रूरैः राक्षसैः काष्ठमुष्टिभिः
समीपं राक्षसेन्द्रस्य प्राकृष्यत स वानरः
50. ततः क्रूरैः राक्षसैः काष्ठमुष्टिभिः हन्यमानः स वानरः राक्षसेन्द्रस्य समीपं प्राकृष्यत ।
50. Then, being struck by the cruel Rākṣasas with wooden clubs and fists, that monkey (Hanuman) was dragged into the presence of the king of Rākṣasas.
