इत्येष मु नभिः प्रोक्तः सम्बन्धः साप्तपौरुषः ।
यजमानात् प्रभृत्यूर्ध्वमनुलेपभुजस्तथा ॥५॥

This seven-generational relationship, extending upwards from the performer of the sacrifice (yajamāna) and including those who partake of the remnants, has thus been declared by the sages.
