महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-42, verse-49

अर्जुनोऽपि महाराज द्रौणिं विव्याध पत्रिभिः ।
तं द्रोणपुत्रः संक्रुद्धो बाह्वोरुरसि चार्दयत् ॥४९॥
49. arjuno'pi mahārāja drauṇiṁ vivyādha patribhiḥ ,
taṁ droṇaputraḥ saṁkruddho bāhvorurasi cārdayat.
49. arjunaḥ api mahārāja drauṇim vivyādha patribhiḥ
tam droṇaputraḥ saṃkruddhaḥ bāhvoḥ urasi ca ārdayat
49. O great king, Arjuna also pierced Drauṇi (Aśvatthāmā) with arrows. Enraged, Drona's son (Aśvatthāmā) then wounded him (Arjuna) on his arms and chest.
