अथाब्रवीन्महाराज द्रोणपुत्रः प्रतापवान् ।
धृष्टद्युम्नं समीपस्थं त्वरमाणो विशां पते ।
पाञ्चालापसदाद्य त्वां प्रेषयिष्यामि मृत्यवे ॥२३॥

dhṛṣṭadyumnaṁ samīpasthaṁ tvaramāṇo viśāṁ pate ,
pāñcālāpasadādya tvāṁ preṣayiṣyāmi mṛtyave.

23. mahārāja,

23. Then, O great king, Droṇa's powerful son, hastening towards Dhṛṣṭadyumna who stood nearby, spoke, saying: 'O disgrace of the Pañcālas, today I shall send you to your death.'
