दृष्ट्वा विनिहितं बाणं शरैः कर्णो विशां पते ।
सात्यकिं शरवर्षेण समन्तात्पर्यवारयत् ॥१४॥

14. O lord of the people, upon seeing (Saatyaki's) arrow discharged, Karṇa then surrounded Saatyaki from all sides with (his) arrows, (creating) a shower of arrows.
