महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-98, verse-9

ननु नाम त्वया वीर दीर्यमाणा भयार्दिता ।
स्वबाहुबलमास्थाय रक्षितव्या ह्यनीकिनी ।
स त्वमद्य रणं त्यक्त्वा भीतो हर्षयसे परान् ॥९॥
9. nanu nāma tvayā vīra dīryamāṇā bhayārditā ,
svabāhubalamāsthāya rakṣitavyā hyanīkinī ,
sa tvamadya raṇaṁ tyaktvā bhīto harṣayase parān.
9. nanu nāma tvayā vīra dīryamāṇā bhaya
ārditā svabāhubalam āsthāya
rakṣitavyā hi anīkinī saḥ tvam adya
raṇam tyaktvā bhītaḥ harṣayase parān

9. Indeed, O hero, when your army (anīkinī) was being torn apart and afflicted by fear, it should have been protected by you, relying on your own mighty arms. Yet today, you, having abandoned the battle out of fear, delight the enemies.
