महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-98, verse-29

तत्राद्भुतं महाराज दृष्टवानस्मि संयुगे ।
यद्द्रोणो रभसं युद्धे पाञ्चाल्यं नाभ्यवर्तत ॥२९॥
29. tatrādbhutaṁ mahārāja dṛṣṭavānasmi saṁyuge ,
yaddroṇo rabhasaṁ yuddhe pāñcālyaṁ nābhyavartata.

droṇaḥ rabhasam yuddhe pāñcālyam na abhyavartata

29. O great king, I saw a wonder in that battle, namely that Drona, despite his impetuous nature in combat, did not turn to face Pañcālya (Dhrishtadyumna).
