महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-98, verse-46

ततो द्रोणं महाराज पाञ्चाल्यः क्रोधमूर्छितः ।
आजघानोरसि क्रुद्धो नवत्या नतपर्वणाम् ॥४६॥
46. tato droṇaṁ mahārāja pāñcālyaḥ krodhamūrchitaḥ ,
ājaghānorasi kruddho navatyā nataparvaṇām.

46. Then, O great king, Dhṛṣṭadyumna, the son of Pāñcāla, enraged and overcome with anger, struck Droṇa on the chest with ninety arrows having bent shafts.
