महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-98, verse-5

न जानीषे पुरा त्वं तु गृह्णन्नक्षान्दुरोदरे ।
शरा ह्येते भविष्यन्ति दारुणाशीविषोपमाः ॥५॥
5. na jānīṣe purā tvaṁ tu gṛhṇannakṣāndurodare ,
śarā hyete bhaviṣyanti dāruṇāśīviṣopamāḥ.
5. na jānīṣe purā tvam tu gṛhṇan akṣān durodare
śarāḥ hi ete bhaviṣyanti dāruṇāḥ āśīviṣopamāḥ
5. purā tvam akṣān durodare gṛhṇan tu na jānīṣe,
hi ete śarāḥ dāruṇāḥ āśīviṣopamāḥ bhaviṣyanti
5. Surely, you did not know in the past, when you were grasping the dice in the gambling game, that these [arrows] would indeed be terrible and comparable to venomous snakes.
