māriṣa! tvaritaḥ saḥ mahārathaḥ rathāt ca api avaplutya,

O esteemed one, having jumped down from his (own) chariot, that swift great warrior quickly ascended the chariot of Bharadvaja (Drona), his eyes red with anger, desiring to sever (Drona's) head from his body.
