महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-64, verse-14

ततोऽन्तक इव क्रुद्धः सवज्र इव वासवः ।
दण्डपाणिरिवासह्यो मृत्युः कालेन चोदितः ॥१४॥
14. tato'ntaka iva kruddhaḥ savajra iva vāsavaḥ ,
daṇḍapāṇirivāsahyo mṛtyuḥ kālena coditaḥ.
14. tataḥ antakaḥ iva kruddhaḥ sa-vajraḥ iva vāsavaḥ
daṇḍapāṇiḥ iva asahyaḥ mṛtyuḥ kālena coditaḥ
14. kālena coditaḥ mṛtyuḥ tataḥ kruddhaḥ antakaḥ
iva sa-vajraḥ vāsavaḥ iva daṇḍapāṇiḥ iva asahyaḥ
14. Then, Death (mṛtyu), driven by time (kālena), appeared enraged like the Destroyer (antaka), like Vasava (Indra) with his thunderbolt, and unbearable (asahya) like the staff-wielding (daṇḍapāṇi) Yama.
