महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-117, verse-15

स मां निहन्यात्संग्रामे यो मां कुर्यान्निरायुधम् ।
समास्तु शाश्वतीर्हन्याद्यो मां हन्याद्धि संयुगे ॥१५॥
15. sa māṁ nihanyātsaṁgrāme yo māṁ kuryānnirāyudham ,
samāstu śāśvatīrhanyādyo māṁ hanyāddhi saṁyuge.
15. saḥ mām nihanyāt saṃgrāme yaḥ mām kuryāt nirāyudham
samāḥ tu śāśvatīḥ hanyāt yaḥ mām hanyāt hi saṃyuge
15. yaḥ mām nirāyudham kuryāt saḥ mām saṃgrāme nihanyāt
yaḥ mām saṃyuge hanyāt hi saḥ samāḥ śāśvatīḥ hanyāt tu
15. May he who renders me weaponless strike me down in battle. Indeed, may he who strikes me in combat be struck (in return) for eternal (śāśvatī) years.
