महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-35, verse-57

दिवसेनैव तत्कुर्याद्येन रात्रौ सुखं वसेत् ।
अष्टमासेन तत्कुर्याद्येन वर्षाः सुखं वसेत् ॥५७॥

57. During the day, one should accomplish that by which one can live comfortably at night. Over eight months, one should accomplish that by which one can live comfortably during the rainy season (varṣāḥ).
