महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-35, verse-16

सुधन्वोवाच ।
पितरं ते गमिष्यावः प्राणयोर्विपणे कृते ।
पुत्रस्यापि स हेतोर्हि प्रह्रादो नानृतं वदेत् ॥१६॥
16. sudhanvovāca ,
pitaraṁ te gamiṣyāvaḥ prāṇayorvipaṇe kṛte ,
putrasyāpi sa hetorhi prahrādo nānṛtaṁ vadet.
16. sudhanvā uvāca pitaram te gamiṣyāvaḥ prāṇayoḥ vipaṇe
kṛte putrasya api saḥ hetoḥ hi prahrādaḥ na anṛtam vadet
16. Sudhanvan said: "We two will go to your father, having staked our lives. Indeed, even for his son's sake, Prahlāda would not speak a lie."
