महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-35, verse-41

स्रुवप्रग्रहणो व्रात्यः कीनाशश्चार्थवानपि ।
रक्षेत्युक्तश्च यो हिंस्यात्सर्वे ब्रह्महणैः समाः ॥४१॥
41. sruvapragrahaṇo vrātyaḥ kīnāśaścārthavānapi ,
rakṣetyuktaśca yo hiṁsyātsarve brahmahaṇaiḥ samāḥ.
41. sruvapragrahaṇaḥ vrātyaḥ kīnāśaḥ ca arthavān api rakṣa
iti uktaḥ ca yaḥ hiṃsyāt sarve brahmahaṇaiḥ samāḥ
41. One who misuses the sacrificial ladle, an outcast, and a cruel person – even if he is wealthy; and one who causes harm after being told 'protect!'; all these are considered equal to killers of brahmins.
