महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-22, verse-58

तस्मिन्काले तु यद्युक्तं धर्मकामार्थसंहितम् ।
तद्राजा धर्मतश्चक्रे राज्यपालनकीर्तिमान् ॥५८॥
58. tasminkāle tu yadyuktaṁ dharmakāmārthasaṁhitam ,
tadrājā dharmataścakre rājyapālanakīrtimān.

58. The king, renowned for governing his kingdom, then acted righteously (dharmataḥ) in whatever manner was appropriate and consistent with natural law (dharma), legitimate desires (kāma), and material well-being (artha).
