महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-22, verse-34

किं कुर्मः पुरुषव्याघ्र ब्रवीहि पुरुषर्षभ ।
कृतमित्येव तज्ज्ञेयं नृपैर्यद्यपि दुष्करम् ॥३४॥
34. kiṁ kurmaḥ puruṣavyāghra bravīhi puruṣarṣabha ,
kṛtamityeva tajjñeyaṁ nṛpairyadyapi duṣkaram.
34. kim kurmaḥ puruṣavyāghra bravīhi puruṣarṣabha
kṛtam iti eva tat jñeyam nṛpaiḥ yadyapi duṣkaram
34. O foremost of men, O mightiest of men, tell us what we should do. Whatever is to be done must be considered as already accomplished, even if it is difficult for kings.
