महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-22, verse-27

यं लेभे वासवाद्राजा वसुस्तस्माद्बृहद्रथः ।
बृहद्रथात्क्रमेणैव प्राप्तो बार्हद्रथं नृपम् ॥२७॥
27. yaṁ lebhe vāsavādrājā vasustasmādbṛhadrathaḥ ,
bṛhadrathātkrameṇaiva prāpto bārhadrathaṁ nṛpam.
27. yam lebhe vāsavāt rājā vasuḥ tasmāt bṛhadrathaḥ
bṛhadrathāt krameṇa eva prāptaḥ bārhadratham nṛpam
27. King Vasu obtained that (chariot) from Vāsava (Indra). From him (Vasu), Bṛhadratha received it. And from Bṛhadratha, in due succession, King Bārhadrathes (Jarāsandha) obtained it.
