एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित् ।
भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयत्वम् ॥७॥

bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva; tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayatvam.

The Goddess said: 'So it shall be, O immortal one of great power. I never speak falsely. You shall have sixteen thousand wives, and also their affection, and unending prosperity.'
