महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-16, verse-16

ब्रह्मा शतक्रतुर्विष्णुर्विश्वेदेवा महर्षयः ।
न विदुस्त्वां तु तत्त्वेन कुतो वेत्स्यामहे वयम् ॥१६॥
16. brahmā śatakraturviṣṇurviśvedevā maharṣayaḥ ,
na vidustvāṁ tu tattvena kuto vetsyāmahe vayam.

na viduḥ tvām tu tattvena kutaḥ vetsyāmahe vayam

16. Even Brahmā, Indra (Śatakratu, the one of a hundred Vedic rituals), Viṣṇu, the Viśvedevas, and the great sages do not truly know You in Your essence. How, then, can we know You?
