महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-16, verse-31

प्राणकृत्प्राणभृत्प्राणी प्राणदः प्राणिनां गतिः ।
देहकृद्देहभृद्देही देहभुग्देहिनां गतिः ॥३१॥
31. prāṇakṛtprāṇabhṛtprāṇī prāṇadaḥ prāṇināṁ gatiḥ ,
dehakṛddehabhṛddehī dehabhugdehināṁ gatiḥ.
