महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-274, verse-56

अनेन हि समाविष्टो वृत्रो धर्मभृतां वरः ।
व्यजृम्भत ततः शक्रस्तस्मै वज्रमवासृजत् ॥५६॥
56. anena hi samāviṣṭo vṛtro dharmabhṛtāṁ varaḥ ,
vyajṛmbhata tataḥ śakrastasmai vajramavāsṛjat.

56. Indeed, Vṛtra, the foremost among those who uphold natural law (dharma), being enveloped by this (fever), swelled up. Consequently, Śakra (Indra) hurled his thunderbolt at him.
