महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-274, verse-44

इमा हि देवताः सर्वा ऋषयश्च परंतप ।
तव क्रोधान्महादेव न शान्तिमुपलेभिरे ॥४४॥
44. imā hi devatāḥ sarvā ṛṣayaśca paraṁtapa ,
tava krodhānmahādeva na śāntimupalebhire.
44. imāḥ hi devatāḥ sarvāḥ ṛṣayaḥ ca paraṃtapa
tava krodhāt mahādeva na śāntiṃ upalebhire
44. paraṃtapa mahādeva hi imāḥ sarvāḥ devatāḥ
ca ṛṣayaḥ tava krodhāt śāntiṃ na upalebhire
44. O scorcher of foes (paraṃtapa)! O Mahādeva! Indeed, all these deities and sages have not found peace because of your anger.
