महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-274, verse-46

एकीभूतस्य न ह्यस्य धारणे तेजसः प्रभो ।
समर्था सकला पृथ्वी बहुधा सृज्यतामयम् ॥४६॥
46. ekībhūtasya na hyasya dhāraṇe tejasaḥ prabho ,
samarthā sakalā pṛthvī bahudhā sṛjyatāmayam.
46. ekībhūtasya na hi asya dhāraṇe tejasaḥ prabho
| samarthā sakalā pṛthvī bahudhā sṛjyatām ayam
46. prabho hi sakalā pṛthvī ekībhūtasya asya tejasaḥ
dhāraṇe na samarthā ayam bahudhā sṛjyatām
46. O Lord (prabhu), truly, the entire earth is not capable of holding this unified splendor (tejas). Therefore, let this (energy) be manifested in many forms.
