नूनं ते हृदयं काम वज्रसारमयं दृधम् ।
यदनर्थशताविष्टं शतधा न विदीर्यते ॥२३॥

23. nūnaṁ te hṛdayaṁ kāma vajrasāramayaṁ dṛdham ,
yadanarthaśatāviṣṭaṁ śatadhā na vidīryate.

23. Certainly, O desire (kāma), your heart is firm and as hard as a diamond. Although it is afflicted by hundreds of calamities, it does not shatter into a hundred pieces.
