A person, deluded like one mistaking a conch-shell for silver, truly suffers falsely. But the ultimate reality (param) is the state of non-existence (of illusory phenomena) (abhāva), which is of the nature of pure awareness (bodha-rūpam) and is freedom from the cycle of existence (saṃsāra).
