श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अहंतादिजगच्चेदं परिज्ञानादसत्यताम् ।
याति सानुभवो मोहात्सत्यमेवान्यथाधियाम् ॥ १ ॥

Sri Vasistha said: This world, including the ego (ahaṅkāra), becomes unreal through perfect knowledge. Conversely, for those with a different understanding, it is indeed perceived as real, arising from their delusion (moha) and (false) experience.
